Jonathan Martin is not only a vital part of the On Track Ministries family, he is also driver of the number 30 Lugnut Racing Chevy Monte Carlo.  Jonathan started racing karts at eight years of age.  He raced karts for six years winning over 50 races, two track championships and was voted sportsman of the year in 2000 and 2002 by his competitors.

In 2003, at 14 years of age, Jonathan made the move from karts to stock cars.  In his first season he became one of the youngest drivers to ever win a feature event at Baer Field Speedway.  The 2004 season brought another feature win, two heat race victories and the top gun qualifier twice.  He ended the 2004 season third in the points standings.

The 2005 season proved to be a banner year for Lugnut Racing as Jonathan claimed his third Baer Field Speedway track championship.  Not only was he crowned the 2005 Street Stock Champion, but he was also voted as the 2005 Sportsman of the Year by his peers.

The Lord has used Jonathan on and off the track to share his testimony with others.  When Jonathan speaks to youth groups he challenges others to use the abilities God has blessed them with to honor the Lord and make a difference in the lives of others.  There are greater trophies to win than those from a race track.
